Scole Football club

My name is Alan Boulter, I am the Vice-Chairman of Scole United Football Club.

We are interested in trying to re-introduce a Girls Football Group back into the Youth section of our club.

With this in mind, we are running some training sessions for Ages 6 to 12 yrs, up at Scole Playing Field, Ransome Avenue, Scole on a Saturday Morning from 10:00 am to gauge interest. The first session is on Saturday 6th July.

We are fully Football Association Affiliated and our coaches are all qualified and DBS checked.

Waterlillies - sumer holiday activities

HAF 

As the holidays are rapidly approaching, please would you share this information with the appropriate families attending your school.  These are all free sessions are aimed at those pupils receiving means tested free school dinners.

  • Family Park Cooking – A fun day out for the whole family which includes taking home recipe cards and free ingredients to make 5 family meals
  • Adventure Days – Extended days now 8.30am to 4.30pm to help working parents – breakfast, lunch and snacks provided
  • Free Swim and lunch – free swimming and lunch for children 5-16 years and parents.
  • Fully Funded Duke of Edinburgh Award -  (Year 9,10 and 11 only)

Everything else families need to know (including eligibility and booking) is on the attached email letter and ‘fliers’ but for your ease there is also a brief summary and local dates below.  These sessions are extremely popular, spaces are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis so your help sharing the message soon will give your families the best chance of participating.

Adventure Days (8.30am – 4.30pm to help working parents – breakfast lunch and snacks provided)

  • A full day of indoor and outdoor adventures (8:30am-4:30pm)
  • Activities include team games, fire-lighting, axe throwing, archery, swimming and loads more!
  • Breakfast and Lunch included

 

 

SEND support – On these days we provide an extra instructor increasing our ratio from 1:10 to 1:5 to provide a little extra support to those that need it.
Children will still be expected to be independent and manage their own behaviour and interactions with other children as set out in our behavioural policy.

 

 

Family Park Cooking Days (Children aged 5-16 years with their parents/carers)

  • A full day out for the family (10am-3pm)
  • Take part in a cooking master class
  • Take home a weeks for of food for your family
  • All locations have indoor or covered areas

 

 

Free Swim and Lunch (ages 5+)

Abbeycroft is offering free swim and lunch to eligible children from 5-16 years old. 

Tickets are available for children and parents.

 

 

 

 

Duke of Edinburgh Awards

 

FREE Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme

We are now accepting young people onto our 2024/2025 programme.

 

  • All costs of the award are covered and all food and equipment is provided.
  • This programme is completely free for any young people eligible for free school meals as part of Suffolk County Council HAF programme.
  • This is open to any young people in Year 9, 10 or 11 living in Suffolk or attending school in Suffolk.
