A Board of Trustees is an appointed group of individuals that has overall responsibility for the management of an organisation. The Board of Trustees is the governing body of an organisation and seeks to ensure the best interest of stakeholders in all types of management decisions.
A Trustee's role in a charity is to be the 'guardians of purpose', making sure that all decisions put the needs of the beneficiaries first. They safeguard the assets – both physical assets, including property, and intangible ones, such as its reputation. The Consortium Trust has appointed a robust Board of Trustees, with the requisite skills, knowledge and integrity to provide the strategic challenge and direction of the Trust at every level.

Welcome to our Locality Committee for Borders Primary Schools. We are currently looking for new Locality Committee Members, if you are interested, please contact p.folkard@consortiumtrust.org.uk
Current Locality Committee members can be contacted via the school office on office.mendham@consortiumtrust.org.uk

I am the parent of a child at Mendham Primary School and have recently joined the Locality Committee as a member of the Pupil Experience Team. I am excited to learn more about the running of the school and have the chance to be involved.
I have been a Clinical Psychologist (or a ‘feelings doctor’ as my daughter says!) for 17 years and spent lots of time working with children, young people and their families. I am an active member of my church and I also enjoy attending activities at Mendham Church. In my spare time I like reading, being in the countryside and spending time with family and friends.
I love working with children and I hope that I can use my experience to help the Locality Committee and school work together to enable all the pupils to flourish.
Rachel can be contacted via email on: r.chettleburgh@consortiumtrust.org.uk or via Mendham Primary School, Mendham, Harleston, IP20 0NJ.
With my daughter halfway through her time at Mendham, I thought it was time to give something back.
As an educational supplier for over 20 years, and latterly as a company director, I wanted to be able to use my skillset to help positively enhance the learning environment and to help out in some small way.
Up until recently, I have been actively involved in Bungay Tennis Club, but a long-term injury has forced me to reconsider, so freeing up some spare time for me to get involved in helping to raise the school's already upward trajectory.
Iain can be contacted via email on: i.kimber@consortiumtrust.org.uk or via Mendham Primary School, Mendham, Harleston, IP20 0NJ.

Susan Wallis has been supporting the school as a parent helper for many years whose Grandson attends Mendham primary school.
As an Ex teacher, she has many years in education.
Susan can be contacted via email on: s.wallis@consortiumtrust.org.uk or via Mendham Primary School, Mendham, Harleston, IP20 0NJ.
